Superposition in physics means an overlapping of equal quantities or information for that matter.
This concept of superposition can be transferred to photography to take a closer look at the functionality of our digital and analog image world.
The form of images is increasingly determined by context and manipulation, which leads to a dissolution of the uniqueness of visual information. An overlapping of different modes of representation becomes possible, whereby the superposition appears in a new context.
