Current of Time was a site-specific installation at Spectrum Space, The Hague (November, 2021). The work consisted of light sensitive photographic prints. That depicted GAN-generated portraits of various different faces. The learning set for the created images incorporated all images of missing people in the police archive of the Dutch National Police.
The prints were done by re-photographing the output images and darkroom printing them without the fixing process. Since the work was installed in a dark setting - every visitor had to use the artificial light in the room. Which consequently darkened the images over time and lead to the photographs continually disappearing with every person entering the space.
